ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT: (HISTORY, BRIEF PROFILE)
Mathematics Department is one of the oldest departments of Government Degree College, Tuni established in the year 1988. At present the Department is offering B.Sc. programme with four disciplines: M.P. Cs (Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science), M.C.Cs (Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science), MPC (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry), MPWT (Mathematics, Physics, Web technology) and one Vocational Programme B.Voc. (Pharmaceutical Chemistry). B.Sc. Mathematics (Honours) is offering from the academic year 2023-2024. There are two sanctioned posts in the Department, at present two regular faculty members are working.

1. VISION STATEMENT:
To develop computing, critical thinking, reasoning and problem solving skills among thestudents.
