Every student of the college can join as NSS Volunteer. The NSS wing of Government Degree College,Tuni gives them an opportunity to do social service like clean and green programmes , create awareness and conduct rallies and surveys. Our college has two NSS units. Each unit has 100 volunteers.

The National Service Scheme (NSS) is an Indian Government sponsored public service programme conducted by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and sports of the Government of India .It was launched in 1969, aimed at developing students’ personality through community service. Volunteers learn while serving the society without bias.
