Department Of History

History governs the life of the individual, Society and the Modern states. The subject plays a significant role in the international affairs. The knowledge of History helps in solving many problems and the study has practical advantage. The Department of History was established in 1980 when the college was started. The Department of History offering B.A(HEP) from 1981 till 2022. In the year 2023 BA History Honours was introduced as per the guidelines of APSCHE.

VISION

• Prepare five years development plan of the department from 2020-21 to 2025-26.
• To increase the students strength of three Years B.A course .
• The department should conduct curricular and co-curricular activities .
• To develop Scientific attitude and social responsibility among the students .
• To develop Research skills among the students .
• To Strengthen the students both academic and career development .
• Encouragae the involvement of Alumni in the development of the Institution .
• Make The department to play Crucial role in the college activities like NAAC , Automonous etc .

• Conduct career orientation programmes .
• To conduct State , National Seminars and Guest Lecturers .
• To conduct Insdustrial tours .
• The department should encourage the students to involve in NSS ,RRC and other activities .
• To give Assignments and Projects works to the students .
• Form Alumni association and conduct meetings for the development of the department and Maintain all necessary records .
