ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT:

The Department of Botany was established in the academic year 2018-19 i.e it is at its very beginning . So far three batches were awarded degree i.e., B.Sc (BZC) from this campus. From 2020-21 onwards another programme B.Voc ( Pharma) with Botany as one of the courses was introduced. The maximum number of seats available for BSc students is 40 each year. The laboratory specifically meant for Botany is yet to be established.

• To develop this institute as a good “ knowledge centre “ of Botany
• To inculcate the habit of learning about Plant Sciences with passion among the students

MISSION

• To use herbarium and other plant specimen depicting approaches for effective practical learning
